- ➤ Budweiser Clydesdales will appear free in the Valley ahead of the Charro Days parade. Residents can see a one-horse show at Walmart in Mission on Feb. 25 (5–7 p.m.) and a similar event in Harlingen on Feb. 27, with stable visits in Mercedes on both days from 4–6 p.m. KRGV
ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ Delayed produce shipments from Mexico affected local supermarkets after cartel violence blocked truck routes on Monday at a produce terminal near McAllen. Goods including broccoli, onions, squash, carrots & cilantro are now arriving, though the disruption cost significant income losses in the McAllen-Edinburg-Mission area. KRGV

- ➤ The Growing Gardeners Club at Cesar Chavez Elementary in PSJA ISD was named National Junior Master Gardener Group for February + led by science lab teacher Tami Bhadai, the club will be featured on the program website highlighting their hands-on learning and teamwork. KRGV
