- ➤ Two people were taken to the hospital early Sunday after a rollover crash in Edinburg on the 1800 block of North Sugar Road, and 21-year-old Juan Carlos Contreras was arrested on DWI and intoxication assault charges—he will face charges after his release as investigators look into a possible street racing incident. SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ UTRGV quarterback Eddie Lee Marburger returned to the Valley during spring practice to join the Vaqueros and show his leadership plus mentor younger players. He now competes for the starting role as the team holds 11 more practices ahead of the spring game on April 17th. KRGV
- ➤ The UTRGV Baseball team in Edinburg is off to its best conference start since 1979—sweeping Lamar, New Orleans and Nicholls in the first three series. KRGV
