- ➤ Shary Heights in Mission was added to the National Register of Historic Places last month after local researcher Logan Dovalina spent six years studying its mid-century homes and role in our agricultural history. The listing honors the neighborhood's heritage + community dedication. KRGV
- ➤ Crews began replacing fallen tiles on the 40-foot mosaic at the Basilica of Our Lady of San Juan del Valle (the $35,000 repair project will take about two months) as work continues. KRGV
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Governor Greg Abbott attended a graduation event at Embassy Suites by Hilton Convention Center in McAllen where Dwyer Workforce Development celebrated 50 graduates from its Certified Nursing Assistant and Medication Aide program.
