- ➤ UTRGV football hosted their second annual youth clinic yesterday at Robert and Janet Vackar stadium. The event helped young players & local families boost football skills and teamwork. KRGV
- ➤ After clinching the No. 4 seed with a close loss to Memphis Hustle, the RGV Vipers will host the Austin Spurs in the first-round playoff game on Tuesday, Mar. 31 at 7:30 p.m. in Edinburg. KRGV
- ➤ UTRGV baseball lost the South Texas Showdown series by a 5 to 2 margin yesterday when Sharyland alum *Kike Cienfuegos* pitched 3.2 innings, allowing four runs and eight hits. The Vaqueros will face Rice on Tuesday night at 6:30 p.m. KRGV
- ➤ The UTRGV Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2026 induction took place Sunday, March 29 at the university as local sports figures Sofia De Alva, Doug Erickson, and Omar Ortiz and community luminaries Dr. Frederick & Catharyn von Ende were honored for their achievements. KRGV
