- ➤ An undocumented migrant, Luis Antonio Ochoa-Soliz (from Mexico), was arrested in Mission after he admitted to pointing a laser at a U.S. Customs and Border Protection helicopter during a traffic stop near Mayberry Road and Country Club Drive, and the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force is investigating the case. - ➤ KYWW Puro Tejano 1530 AM launched a new music radio station that now broadcasts Tejano music across the Valley from McAllen to South Padre Island and Starr County. Bonnie Hernandez returns to the air after four years and three months and will host shows from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. plus the station plans exclusive giveaways, live community events, and concerts with local artists.
