  • The UTRGV baseball team lost 11-4 to the No. 1 Texas Longhorns Tuesday night after falling 7-0 in the first two innings, and the Vaqueros will start their series against Southeastern Thursday night.  KRGV
  • Tuesday evening, the Rio Grande City softball team extended its winning streak to 15—defeating Mission in a competitive game that showcased strong local talent.  KRGV
  • UTRGV men’s basketball star Howie Fleming Jr. announced on Tuesday via social media that he is transferring to UNLV—he entered the transfer portal in March as he seeks a new opportunity for his final year of eligibility after leading the Vaqueros in points and rebounds across all 31 games. He played at Illinois State and Winthrop before joining UTRGV, making UNLV the fourth college he has attended.  KRGV
  • On Tuesday evening, the Nikki Rowe baseball team overcame an early deficit to defeat Edinburg Vela.  KRGV
