- ➤ UTRGV men’s basketball star Howie Fleming Jr. announced on Tuesday via social media that he is transferring to UNLV—he entered the transfer portal in March as he seeks a new opportunity for his final year of eligibility after leading the Vaqueros in points and rebounds across all 31 games. He played at Illinois State and Winthrop before joining UTRGV, making UNLV the fourth college he has attended. KRGV
