Here's your local news at a glance for Thursday, the 24th of April.
Good morning, Mission.
🏛️ Government
TxDOT will begin negotiating in May with state-certified appraisers to buy land along the proposed State Highway 68 route (from US 83/I-2 to US 281/I-69C) designed to ease traffic in the mid-Valley, affecting homeowners such as local resident Rogelio Morales.
Homeowners may provide counteroffers as the department works to set fair compensation for properties that may be impacted.
