- ➤ Pedro Camacho, who owns a warehouse along Military Highway in Pharr, said his business will adjust imports if a 21% tariff on Mexican tomatoes goes into effect by July 14—this change may force a reduction in supplies for his customers. - ➤ Students at Sharyland Pioneer High School built a new paved walkway for custodians to take out trash on campus—using six yards of donated concrete from 57 Concrete and guidance from teacher Jorge Espinoza. - ➤ UTRGV Student Media won its third straight Director’s Cup at the TIPA convention in San Marcos, proving its skill in running news contests.
