- ➤ McAllen High senior point guard Judah Rios signed his letter of intent for Missouri Valley College men's basketball on Thursday, May 28 (8:19 p.m.), after earning first-team all-district and all-defensive honors while helping his team score 1,000 career points and win 38 consecutive games. KRGV
- ➤ The UTRGV athletic department announced the Vaqueros will face UTSA in an away game kicking off at 2:30 p.m. on Sept. 5 at the Alamodome in San Antonio — marking their first meeting with an FBS opponent; tickets will be available via the Vaqueros Loyalty Points Program. KRGV
