- ➤ The government is reportedly restarting ICE arrests at farms, hotels and restaurants after a brief pause to reverse its earlier slowdown; Edinburg produce owner Bret Erickson said he has struggled to find local workers and has relied on H-2A seasonal labor for six years—raising concerns about growing labor shortages in the valley. - ➤ FEMA announced new weekend hours for all seven disaster recovery centers in the Valley to support storm recovery efforts. Starting this Saturday, centers will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday — remaining closed on Sunday — while weekday hours continue from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. FOX RGV

- ➤ Weslaco’s state champion head softball coach Mario Rodriguez will be inducted into the RGV sports hall of fame on June 28.
