- ➤ Today, around 2:30 p.m. in rural Weslaco—near mile 12½ west of FM 88—the Weslaco Fire Department responded to a mobile home blaze that left the Miranda family homeless and resulted in the loss of several family pets while Hidalgo County Fire Marshals investigate the cause. FOX RGV

- ➤ Students across the Rio Grande Valley will soon return to class. Dr. Omar Peña from South Texas Health System advises that students adjust their sleep schedules with lights out by 10 p.m.—ensuring they wake by 7 a.m. and keep up with required vaccinations. KRGV
