🚧 Accidents
Mission Fire Department responded to a deadly two-vehicle accident on 4 1/2 Mile Road and La Homa Road (around 10:30 p.m. Saturday), where one person died and another was transported by Skyline EMS to a local hospital.
🏛️ Government
Mission will close Business 83 to FM 495 starting on Wednesday for a $6 million drainage project—repaving the road, adding sidewalks, a center turn lane and new water and sewer lines to address flooding; the work will take one year and drivers are advised to use Mayberry and Stewart Roads.
