The Mission EDC is hosting the free Small Business Expo on Wednesday, Sept.
16 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Mission Event Center, featuring guest speakers, networking and a pitch competition for entrepreneurs.

UTRGV volleyball will host Texas Southern today at 6:30 p.m. at the UTRGV Fieldhouse after starting the season in two road tournaments that yielded one win, and the team aims to extend a streak of seven wins against the Tigers.
