- ➤ Marco Regalado, the UTRGV football running backs coach who grew up in the 956 near Zapata, has boosted the Vaqueros’ running game with two players achieving 100 rushing-yard games this fall—he joined the team after contacting Head Coach Travis Bush in 2022. KRGV
- ➤ After winning 61-13 against Texas Wesleyan on Saturday night, the UTRGV Vaqueros improved to 4-0 as quarterback Eddie Lee Marburger passed for over 200 yards and the defense forced five turnovers—solidifying their strong start. The team will begin conference play next Saturday at 6:00 p.m. in Hammond against Southeastern. KRGV
