  • ➤ The UTRGV men's basketball team held its first official practice on Monday afternoon — the team had only four returning players and many new ones. Coach Kahil Fennell said the team is excited about the fresh talent and that the season will start in early November.  KRGV
  • ➤ Channel 5 News Sports Director KJ Doyle interviewed Vaqueros Head Football Coach Travis Bush after the team won its final non-conference game against Texas Wesleyan—Bush explained plans for upcoming matches.  KRGV
