- ➤ The Hispanic community in Mission will celebrate Dia De Los Muertos on Nov. 1—honoring the spirits of children with ofrendas that include photos, candles, marigold, and favorite foods. Events on Nov. 2 will remember adults as part of this two-day holiday. KRGV
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ On Tuesday, U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean P. Duffy cut 13 routes including Aeromexico’s service from McAllen in response to Mexico violating the 2015 air transport agreement. The agency took action after Mexico canceled and froze U.S. carrier flights for three years—forcing a halt on growth for several routes while advising passengers to check with their carriers. KRGV
