- ➤ Boca Chica Beach and State Highway 4 will close on Nov. 17 for SpaceX testing activities, ahead of a Starship vehicle launch on Nov. 18. KRGV

- ➤ The Mercedes Tigers and Sharyland Rattlers, both having missed playoffs last year, face off again in a high-stakes playoff game after a regular season game ended in Sharyland's win. KRGV
- ➤ The UTRGV Vaqueros secured a top four seed for the Southland Conference tournament after defeating Incarnate Word in three straight sets, led by Claudia Lupescu with 15 kills. KRGV
