➤ The Texas Comptroller's Office holds $125 million in unclaimed money for Rio Grande Valley residents. Residents can search for their funds online or attend a free event on Thursday, Dec. 11 at the state comptroller's office in McAllen (photo I.D. required). KRGV

SPORTS NEWS

➤ RGV Wings of Hope will host the 23rd annual golf tournament on Saturday, Dec. 13 at Los Lagos Golf Course starting at 8:15 a.m., and the event will feature food, drinks, live music, and raffles (call 956-520-1997 for details). KRGV
➤ UTRGV women's basketball will host No. 2 Texas tomorrow at 6:30 p.m. at Bert Ogden Arena, marking the third time the Vaqueros face the Longhorns in Edinburg. KRGV
