18) and highlighted a study showing the Port of Hidalgo saw a 205% trade increase since the early 2000s, with trade reaching $46.4 billion in 2024.

U.S. Senate hopeful James Talarico and Congressman candidate Bobby Pulido held a joint rally in Weslaco on Dec.
18 (endorsing each other) to build alliances with Latino voters as Talarico planned more stops in the Rio Grande Valley before the March primary.
Starting January 1, Mission Fire Department will equip every fire engine with Advanced Life Support capabilities to deliver immediate treatment for cardiac emergencies & respiratory distress.
The upgrade includes advanced cardiac monitoring and airway management to help save lives at emergency scenes.
